The second part of the Kapiti Arts Trail is underway and 98 artists will be represented at over 60 venues from Paekakariki to Otaki for today and Sunday.
The two-weekend format, which has been in place for two years, gives visitors more time to plan days out looking at all the art on offer, talking to the artists taking part and experiencing the creativity of the coast.
The trail has been running for 17 years, involving artists the length of the district from Otaki to Paekakariki and has become one of Kapiti's most significant cultural events.
Kapiti Mayor K Gurunathan says whoever the public decide to visit they are sure to be inspired.
The weather was fine weather last weekend but is not so bright this weekend.
Details of exhibiters for the trail can be found in the free Kapiti Arts Guide available at and Kapiti Library or council office and visitor centre.
