Playground Upgrades Proposed

April 15, 2018

The Kapiti Coast District Council is keen to get feedback on proposals to upgrade two local playgrounds.

The council is running drop-in sessions at Matthews Park in Raumati and Pohutukawa Park in Paraparaumu, today and tomorrow.

Council staff will be on site “rain or shine” to hear community ideas for equipment or other improvements to the parks.

A council team will be at Matthews Park, Menin Road, today (Monday) at 10am and tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3.30pm.

And they’ll be at Pohutukawa Park, Makarini Street, today (Monday) at 3.30pm and tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am.

The council says the “community's input into the upgrade process is important, so we know we are getting it right.”
