Extra Train Services for Hurricanes Match

July 20, 2018

Extra train services are being put on the Kapiti line tonight to deal with the expected surge of passengers for the Hurricanes Super Rugby derby play-off with the Chiefs.

The quarter-final match will see fourth seed Hurricanes field captain Brad Shields, who today declared himself fit to play.

But the fifth seeded Chiefs are expected to be confident after their win last week.

Departing Hurricanes winger, and 54-test All Black Julian Savea, is looking to go out a winner before moving to France at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old confirmed last month he would leave New Zealand in a big-money move with French powerhouse Toulon.

The victor of this match will face either the Crusaders or the Sharks, for a spot in the final.
