Feedback Sought on Council-Run Buses

July 20, 2018

Horowhenua residents have until 8 August to provide feedback on the three district bus services run by the Horizons Regional Council.

The Council runs the Levin to Palmerston North, Day Out In Town, and Levin to Waikanae bus

services.

The two-year trial of two of the services is coming to an end but before the Council re-tenders, it wants to gauge whether the services are fit for purpose and meets the needs of the community.

Feedback will help the Council review the services and confirm the timetable going forward.

Residents have until 8 August to complete the survey which is available on the regional council

website.

The results and recommendations will be presented at the next Passenger Transport committee meeting on 21 August.
